Faculty Support

Welcome to Bennett Library. We are here to support the instructional and informational needs of all on-campus and distance learning Faculty. We have found that faculty that use our resources and services set a great example for their students by encouraging them to use the library. Learning to find, evaluate and use information resources is critical to student success as well as an important lifelong skill. Please do not hesitate to us with any questions you may have. Resources

Online catalog- book and magazine holdings as well as Ebsco Academic e-books for all CCSNH libraries.

Electronic databases Ebscohost ,SIRS Issues Researcher and Proquest Central.available 24/7 ( you will need to login with your easy login username and password)

Database and Research instruction session

Bennett Library offers Research and Database use instruction. Please make an appointment by e-mailing of calling the librarian . We can also do a zoom session for your class. If your students are struggling with formatting APA or MLA citations , we can do a zoom session for that as well. Please let them know that we are here to help with any and all class work needs. So please don't hesitate to contact us!

Services

Bennett Library has open access internet and wifi.  We do have a print management system on our computers and printer called Papercut.. You  must login to your Papercut on the desktop of the computer you are using in order to print. For further instructions please contact the librarian. Students are set up with an account and have $25.00 initially. The charges are .10 per page black and white and .25 for color copies.

Interlibrary loan- Bennett Library is a member of DocLine (National Library of Medicine). We also have an Interlibrary loan system within the New Hampshire State Library as well as the Universities.  Students are allowed to get a library card free at the Laconia Public Library. All they need is to  show proof of being an LRCC student. If you have any requests for anything we may not have in the library, please contact me and I can try to get it for you.

I f you would like to set up a date to have an instruction session for your class on either using the databases, citation help or research help please contact the librarian. They can be either zoom sessions or face to face (when it is allowed).
